. . . Traveling: Malaysia Day-1 : Kuala Lumpur . . .

I was so excited to have my first trip abroad. It was a tour together with Law Faculty member's family of Sriwijaya University. FYI, my father is one of the lecturers of law faculty at Sriwijaya University by the way.

I know it was kinda "Awkward" time to choose having trip in the middle of "my thesis needed to be finished asap" moment. But unfortunately my parents were generous enough to let me join this trip with them although I wasn't "qualified" enough. lol

Anyway, Check this out!
It's about Malaysia!!!
Let's get started, shall we?

♥ Kuala Lumpur ♥

When we were in Kuala Lumpur, we stayed at Midah Hotel
Location: Hotel Midah 8 Jalan Kampung Attap 50460 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Tel: +60 3-2273 9999

The Istana Negara
Our first visit was The new Istana Negara of Malaysia. The location is located near Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

This place was great, so magnificent I mean. Better to see this place by your own eyes. And you'll see what I mean here.

Petronas Twin Towers

The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers (Malay: Menara Petronas, or Menara Berkembar Petronas) are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to the CTBUH's official definition and ranking, they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 until surpassed by Taipei 101, but they remain the tallest twin building in the world. The buildings are the landmark of Kuala Lumpur with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.

The chocolate that we bought
The best seller one was the Tiramisu one. We bought 2 boxes for this. We also bought Black Bitter Chocolate and Fruits Fiesta Chocolate in Durian Flavor

Genting Highlands
The highlands are very popular with people that want to escape the hot and humid weather in Kuala Lumpur. Temperatures vary often around 16/24 degrees, which is quite cold for people from KL. There are a couple of massive hotels in Genting Highlands, where you can book a room for a very affordable price. Prices are this low because the only (legal land-based casinos are located in Genting Highlands. You can compare it with a small version of Las Vegas. Apart from the casinos, you also have a huge theme park, which makes it a perfect destination for families with kids. The highlands are at about 1760 meters above sea level, from the top there is a gorgeous view of the valley in which Kuala Lumpur is situated.

I visited Sa Sa here
Sa Sa, the largest cosmetics retail chain in Asia and one of the top 10 retail groups in Hong Kong, officially opened its 48th outlet in Malaysia at First World Plaza, Genting Highlands.

I love shopping here. The SA was so nice and kindly explained to me one by one for every single questions that I asked to her. I'm gonna post about the haul which I bought here on my next post.

So stay tuned! lol

Well, I ended this post here for now
I'll see you all soon on my next post
