I've told you all that I was thinking to try cleansing oil before. Since I'm wearing makeup regularly (almost every day) when going outside, cleansing routine must be something to be the most considered ever if I don't want to make my acne prone skin becomes worse because of makeup.
When I was visiting one of my favorite ready stock online seller website, I was interested in this cleansing oil, so I chose to give this lemon brightening cleansing oil a try.

Why did I choose this cleansing oil?
Well, because it's A lemon-infused cleansing oil. As we know that lemon is good for our skin. Especially as brightening agent. Because it contains the high concentration of vitamin C.

Did you notice that this product contains mineral oil on the top of list?
Well, as far as I know that most of cleansing oils contain mineral oil. But, honestly, at first, I didn't know that mineral oil is the main ingredient of this cleansing oil. So, I was kinda worried.

Would you mind to show us how this cleansing oil works on you?
Sure, let me show you the short demonstration when using this cleansing oil ^_^

The first picture describes the whole cosmetics that I used for this demonstration
1. Sariayu Martha Tilaar Eyeshadow in Petikan Sitar (Gold)
2. Sariayu Martha Tilaar Eyeshadow in Petikan Sitar (Pink)
3. Tonymoly Kiss Lover in Limited Edition PC02 Tiara Peach
4. Sariayu Martha Tilaar Eyeshadow in Petikan Sitar (Brown)
5. Silkygirl Long-Wearing Eyeliner in #02 Black Brown
6. Holika Holika Magic Pole Mascara Waterproof in #01 Ultra Black
7. PAC Matte Lipstick in Tender Peach
8. Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Black
9. Lioele Dollish Veil Vita BB SPF 25/PA++ in #2 Natural Green
10. The Face Shop Clean Face Oil Free BB Cream

And for the second picture describes when I put one pump of cleansing oil on my skin.

I don't know if you notice or not, but the shimmer of my tonymoly lipstick was still stuck on my skin. It means that double cleanse is a must. So, I never skip cleansing with facial foam after using this.

Step by step:
1. Dispense an ample amount into dry palm
2. Rub gently until the makeup is dissolved
3. Add some water and rub it again
4. Wash with clean water
5. Wipe it off with cotton or tissue
Like I said before, it's better to continue your cleansing routine with Double cleanse method. After using cleansing oil, do double cleanse with facial foam after that. Especially if you have oily skin like me.

Conclusion:
Pros:

♥ Doesn't break me out
♥ Doesn't irritate my skin
♥ Brightening my skin
♥ Quite good in cleansing my whole makeup on my face
♥ I feel my face is kinda smoother after using this, which is become a plus point for me

Cons:
♥ Kinda pricey (I got mind for IDR144.000 (around $15) for 150ml, on the other hand we have another alternative cleansing oil from Japan for 230ml for $13 only eventhough I'm not sure it'll be okay for my skin or not. Since I have acne prone issue on my skin)
♥ I need to use more than 3 pumps when cleansing my whole makeup, although it's not a heavy makeup. Such a waste, right?
♥ Hard to get here in my city, there's no Skinfood store here in Palembang. So, the only way to purchase this product by ordering online.

Rating:
4.4/5

Repurchase:
Not sure, it's 50:50. I wanna keep using this product, on the other hand I wanna challenge myself to try another cleansing oil which is more affordable.

Anyway gals, I hope this review can be something helpful and useful for you all. I'll see you all soon.

  7. Nice review! :D Saya hampir gak pernah pake cleansing oil ^_^; soalnya takutnya gak bersih 100% n malah nyumbat pori-pori jadi tiap kali bersihin make up langsung cuci muka pake sabun pembersih.. tapi memang kalau make eyeliner dsb-nya cleansing oil itu sangat diperlukan ya ^_^;

  8. Yukiitheo,
    Thanks udah mampir ya dear...
    kasih sweet comment lagi ^_^

Jenis cleansing oil emang pas buat bersihin semua jenis makeup, buat amannya emang kudu double cleansing pake facial foam kelarnya, takut2 masih ada residu dari cleansing oil yang nempel di muka.

  9. Thanks for the review. I always double cleanse as well, because I wear make up. I use one make up remover for my eyes and then use oil cleanser for skin, then regularly cleanser. I used to buy mac cleanse off oil, but it was really expensive. >_<
